@Luke - The main reason I gave it such a low score was down to the lack of originality. The difference between Ali G and Broat was night and day but the difference between Bruno and Borat was night and... erm... that bit just before sunrise. It didn't do enough differently (or as well tbh) to deserve a higher score from me. To each their own though and if you enjoyed it, great.

I'm shocked! Bruno was one of the most shocking, funny movies this year. Borat, Bruno and Ali G are hilarious films, and I'm a bit of a film buff myself. Just because it's not as inciteful of many other films that are out at the moment doesn't mean it deserves a low score.

I would have personally given the movie less than '1 star'. It is based entirely on repetative shock-humour which is just, well, shocking. Shocking to watch, shocking that people actually bought the act, and shocking that Sascha even decided it was worthwhile to make.
The similarities to his previous work is bad enough, but when his previous movie Borat isn't exactly original itself, then you have to ask the question; Who pays to see these movies?
Further more, who decided to place them at the cinema and not straight in the bargain cages in your local video store for £2.99?
