I watched Brick this week and I was gripped, fully gripped! It was a really unique format and it just worked. The dialogue was fantastic!

The Game is just epic. The ending just blew me out of my seat. You might love Brick or you might not. I don’t know you nearly well enough to be able to call it. One thing is for sure though; it is immensely cool. The dialogue is fast paced and lifted straight out of the old black and white Bogart detective movies but by some miracle isn’t at all dated. You can pick the DVD up from HMV for 3 or 4 quid at the moment. Well worth a punt.

I have The Game on HD DVD (picked it up for £3 when the format died) and was hooked from start to finish. It throws a lot of twists and turns at you. I’m intrigued by Brick, especially as I have a soft spot for Joseph Gordon Levitt since seeing him in 500 Days of Summer. Keep ‘em coming — now I’ve got my Love Film subscription these come in extra handy (and attainable).

Would quite like to see The Hudsucker Proxy and Brick after reading this though!

I actually haven’t seen a single one of these movies. But don’t panic! I’m on it!
