My name is Dan Schonhaar and this is my blog! Welcome.
Here I write about all kinds of crap. Movies, Comics, the web, technology and everything ese in between.
Where do I start… well, I’m 26 years old and live in Derbyshire, England although I’m originally from Ontario, Canada. I run mostly on Caffine. I love movies, web design, cooking, robots, comic books, music, skateboarding and my lovely girlfriend, Nat, she’s awesome 
. I’ve recently gotten into photography and try to go out shooting whenever I can. I’m also fighting a winning fight with the intricacies of WordPress, the platform on which this very blog is built.
I also love going to live gigs and do enjoy the odd beer… or glass of wine…. or Jack and Coke. I usually just go out drinking in pubs and bars because I like to be able to talk to my friends but I have been known to frequent the alternative clubs of Nottingham, Derby, Birmingham and Sheffield.
I occasionally build websites too and have a good working relationship with the guy(s) over at minutedesigns.com who provide my hosting. I have a passion for standards based, accessible site design and regularly make [X]HTML and CSS my bitch.
This blog is basically about all the things I’ve mentioned above, along with some other random shiznit that I find of interest. I regularly write reviews of movies and discuss web design and technology as I’m a massive geek!
I have a fantastic group of friends who I’d do anything for. You guys are awesome!

About the site
The site is powered by WordPress 2.8, a powerful, open source blog and CMS utility. All pages are coded to valid XHTML 1.0 Strict and CSS standards as layed out by the World Wide Web Consortium. The site is proudly hosted by MinuteDesigns.
I check regularly to ensure the site remains valid as I make changes. I do my coding using Notepad ++ and manipulate my images using Adobe Fireworks and Photoshop. I pick the brains of the super-helpful guys at WebForumz.com and TheWebSqueeze.You can view the site in pretty much any browser you like but FireFox users will have the best experience. If you notice a problem viewing the site in a particular browser or version, please feel free to let me know.
